I wrote a simple comment about one of her photos and was deeply touched by her response. This is an exquisite human being. I am so pleased that the existence of Tribe allowed me to meet her, at least across cyber-space. I wish I could meet her in person and see her dance and relax together in person.

Tara is a really wonderful friend. She is a deeply magickal peson whose sense of ritual and spiritual depth just blows me away sometimes. She knows how to connect from the heart even when it is scary to do so, and her courage to face the dark side taps a place of emotional power that is exquisitely beautiful in it's strength and vulnerability. I feel honored that she has opened her soul to me. Deep, mysterious, and magickal - that pretty much gets to the core of how I see Tara, and hers is a friendship I will cherish always.

about me
About me. This is always odd...trying to convey who I am in a paragraph or so, but I'll give it another shot.
The basics...I focus on Spirituality mostly. I'm a Pagan Priestess, mostly Witchy though I am a member of OSOGD as well.
I've been married for 17 years, and am still amazed that my husband and I managed to salvage our marriage after a year of being separated. We somehow resolved many years of painful issues, and I can honestly say I have a wonderful happy marriage, fulfilling in all ways.
I work as a Psychotherapist, with a private practice. While I don't like to say I specialize in any particular area, I have many clients who see me because they know I'm not going to freak out if they tell me they are magickal, kinky, poly, or like to wear green socks ;-) .
Yowza...why do I leave such a large gap between entries when it feels so good to write, and this is a safe place to write, since I don't think very many people read my blog, though more might read it if I actually wrote entries. :-)
I'm still flying high from my recent trip to Egypt. I went with my husband, Sam, and my brother, Tom. We had a ten day adventure that I literally have been looking forward to all my life. As I walked inside the Great Pyramid, and saw the hieroglyphic Inscri...

I find as I go through this journey of physical healing from cancer that it has brought many gifts. Mind you, I would have preferred to learn the lessons and assimilate the gifts in ways that did not bring so much pain and suffering to the people that i love, as well as myself.
I specifically am thinking of my mother. She and I are very closely. Some would call it enmesheed, but being both adults, it's ok in my mind to think of her as my best friend as well as my mother. We talk several t...

I can't believe the irony of the first two posts. Both about cancer.
In November, just before Thanksgiving, a visit to the ER for a migraine that had lasted five days ended up in emergency neurosurgery for a tumor that was malignant. My life since then has been so full of challenge, of tears, of pain and grief and loss, of tons of prayer and meditation and magickal work, Of making some serious changes, of sliding back into old patterns that do not serve me but on some level are a place to hi...

I keep forgetting to connect in with this site, though I plan to make it a more frequent stop during my days. I particularly like the blog feature.
I'm going through some life changing stuff. My mother told me she has breast cancer, and they are going to do a masectomy with radiation and maybe chemo. She is 70. I love her dearly, I am fortunate enough to have a mom who is a best friend, and who also was my first spiritual/magickal teacher. She is an amazing woman.
We all face the deat...

I haven't been active on this site in so long, I didn't know Tribe had started a blog feature. Great idea, for a variety of reasons.
Time to type out thoughts. Jeez, usually I spend my day in such deep thought, it's hard to know what to write.
Sewing class is tonight. What started as a practice piece to finally learn how to do a *&% notched collar is turning out to be a great looking dress. Had I known it was going to be a real garmet I would not have picked difficult to work on micro...
