This Woman is the Love of my life and is looking over my shoulder

Oh, yes - Mel is DEFINITELY the faire mother! Even when she says, "Well, you're 19, so I don't have to worry as much about you", she looks after me and wants to make sure where I'm sleeping. She let me borrow her bodice and keeps us young things safe from the wicked, wicked dirty old men! She always encourages us to go out and play and act and be actors. On top of that, the extent to which she helps out at faire is incredible. Huzzah for Mistress Mel!

I could not do my job at Faire without Mel. (hint, hint....never quit!). The best Assistant Director anyone could ever have!! In fact, people say to me, "Damn! I need a Mel!", and then I laugh. Because I have a Mel! Not only fabulous at her job, she's one of the dearest people ever to me, and I'm lucky, lucky, lucky to have a friend like her. I luvs U!!! :)

Mel is also my Faire mom. I can't imagine Faire without Mel asking me if I've eaten, who that boy is, where's my sister, and making sure I'm having a good time. She's loving, caring, giving, thoughtful...I could go on with adjectives to describe her!

Basically, Mel is a lovely, beautiful woman. I feel blessed to have her in my life and to guide me through Faire, no matter which guild I'm in.

Mel is my faire Mommy. She does everything, and she does everything well, I think she has magic powers. From helping me wash my hair in the morning, to threatening boys, to making shepherds pie, I can't imagine anything at faire without my Mel. <3 I love you Mel, and thank you so much for everything you do for me!
