Just a reminder that I’ll have a booth at next weekend’s (August 23rd and 24th) 7th Annual Glenwood Avenue Arts Festival. The Festival is right next to the Morse Avenue Red Line station, and (for all my relatives) is just a few blocks from Mom & Dad’s house—so you can combine a trip to the Fest with a visit to Mom! My booth (Booth #14) will be along Glenwood Avenue, just north of Morse Avenue.

Well, I certainly had high hopes for my first art fair of 2008. I had a lot of nice pieces to sell; I think my work has improved a lot since last summer. So now school is done and I can concentrate on the next big thing….my first art fest for the summer.
Next weekend I’ll have a booth at the Custer’s Last Stand Festival of the Arts in Evanston, at Main Street and Chicago Avenue, right off the Main Street Purple Line station. It’s the third year I’m doing this fair, and I always have mixed feelings about it. The price keeps shooting up; it’s above $700 this year. And it’s a huge amount of work. But the crowd is also hu...
