what you had to do, and began, though the voices inside you kept shouting their bad advice-- though the whole house began to tremble and you felt the old tug at your ankles. "No, stop, wait!" each voice cried. But you didn't stop. You knew what you had to do, though the wind pried with its stiff fingers at the very foundations, though their melancholy was terrible. It was already late enough, and a wild night, and the road full of fallen branches ... read more
I know, it’s been quite a while, I think an update is passed due. Actually, I discovered that many of my friends from home are on Myspace, so I’ve been turning my attention in that direction. I have found though, Myspace lacks the deep interest in health and depth concerning spiritual matters, so I’ve been spening a little more time on Tribe recently.

Ayurveda, the science of life, the origin of most forms of natural and alternative medicine—has its mention in one of the oldest (about 6,000 years) philosophical texts of the world, the Rig Veda. The Sutrasthana of Charaka Samhita, a much referred ayurvedic text, says; "The three—body, mind and soul—are like a tripod, the world stand by their combination; in them everything abides. It is the subject matter of ayurveda for which the teachings of ayurveda have been revealed." (1.46-47)

~ Here am eye….eye am here. What an amazingly peaceful day I had today. I was very sick for a few days, however, in retrospect, it wasn’t such a bad thing after all. I surely needed to slow up and re-adjust myself. After two- oh, so very long months of receiving Panchakarma and doing nothing but sitting>sitting>sitting with this self…I finally started school. Two weeks ago, actually. I stopped Panchakarma and the very next day moved into my apartment and started the program….this life we...

Suddenly, in a moment of clarity of intelligence, we know that one Divinity face to face. In that clear knowing, we realize that the seeker and the Goal, the knower and that which it sought to know, are one. Like the king of a vast kingdom, awakening from a dream in which he is poor and lost, we awake to the realization that we were never separate from the one, but only imagined a seperateness where none existed. Then we know who we have always been: the one all pervading being, who, while t...
