Join us for a fabulous show of some of the region's best bellydancers, and live drumming with Souhail Kaspar. I'll be performing with my Siren sister, Shiva, and there will be so many other great dancers. It will be a blast!

Chandara's annual hafla/show, "Cairo in Columbus" is scheduled for Saturday, May 3, 2008, 7-11 pm at Building "X" on the campus of Xenos Christian Fellowship, near the intersection of I-270 & Cleveland Ave in Westerville, Ohio (northeast Columbus).

The 2nd Lakewood Artwalk takes place on May 17th from 2:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Sirens will be performing at the Waterbury Coach House at 5pm and at Omega Cuts at 7pm. Find a map for the artwalk at www.popshopgallery.com
The ArtWalk will be a self-guided tour starting at any of the participating venues on Madison Avenue.
EXPLORE: The Galleries, stores, restaurants, and areas businesses.
LEARN: Meet local artists and business owners while learning about their creative processes.
ENJOY: Children’s Chalk Art, Visual Art, Live Music, Dancers, Street Performers along with exploring the hidden treasures of Madison Avenue!
ART WALK SPECIALS: Participating restaurants and bars will offer ArtWalk specials.
about me
I'm a bellydancer up in Cleveland. I've been studying with Habeeba's Dance of the Arts, Cleveland branch, as well as various workshops, and most recently Soraya, who just moved here from California.
What my personality is about:
beer and martinis, sci-fi and failed sitcoms, artist and office slob, messy and meticulous, humble and full of shit, try everything but say no, ambitious and lackadaisical, faith without god, perpetually broke (but working on that), there are no such things as opposites just ideas, intellectual without the snob, no delusions of grandeur, no art is on a pedestal and those who involve their lives with it are somehow more enlightened, if you're not having fun with that you better have a damn good reason for doing it
