I am an optimistic, misanthropist, study in paradox, who is currently directionless and confused. But then it's more fun this way.

Random thoughts

I'm back in the world of the living and it's kind of crazy.

The traveling helped a lot, Europe was amazing. I feel much more settled in myself since I've come back I think all of the hiking did some good. Situation here is a little crazy since almost everything I own-admittedly not too much- is at a friend's house until I get resettled.
For a current inventory, Mouse has:

40 dollars; the last of my cash went to the greyhound ride to get back to California.

A backpacking bag with sleeping gear, watercolor supplies, and 3 changes of clothes.

No job... yet.

No home besides the friendly couch.

And I'm 4 months pregnant. (Surprise! just proves I need to update this thing more often)

And am now living in my very own attic for the next few months. It is actually just adjustment time so I can slowly purge myself of most of my belongings before I go traveling at the end of summer. I have so much crap that I am so attached to-like the 7 half filled journals from childhood filled with adolescent angst.

Still the more I get excited about leaving the states for an indefinite period of time, the more the people seem to approach me with interesting things to do here- like "let's take this wine tasting class...oh you can't" or "I got this offer for the four of us to run our own booth for some craftsmen at big fair!...oh, never mind" and it stops me from being quite so gung ho about getting up and moving.

A few short months of visiting friends around the country…then the Rock the Bells concert in SF (bragging) then I am giving myself an invitation to the world. I'm nervous as fuck.

Anyone want to ride trains to say *checks list of people to visit*, Minnesota, Oregon, or Michigan?

But on the plus side I graduated bartending school and am now a "certified mixologist"
If I can find a new job then life would be even nicer.
since the eviction happens next month, a new place to live would help too.

and maybe a new outlook on life...or just a new life...someone else's used life would do as well.
I'm not picky.
