today i am writing yesterday's blog and today's blog in one.

yesterdays blogs ... how amazing are mangos?
me, personally, i like my mangos like my bananas and, perhaps, sex ... a little bit under ripe
not so messy, not so juicy - but with all the promises of the flavor when it does fully ripen
the kind that's reallllllly good to make salsa with
the mango that's firm to the touch with a little give
that mango that given 2 more hours, 2 more days, 2 more minutes would be that "perfectly ripe"

you know that "perfectly ripe" ... whatever that is for you
but then you've got so many things on your mind or that you have to consider ...
things like your grocery budget, your time constraints, your family (all the other things in your life that go into "the mango" decision)
you buy the mangos the way you want them to be based on your expectations of ripening, etc.

sometimes they just don't do it.
they were picked 2 days early from the tree ... they didn't get the essence of the flavor to be shared
they were picked 2 days too far away ... and that long journey did them in
they needed 2 more hours in that cold storage ... before coming into this desert land
they needed 2 more hours on your kitchen counter in the warm sun ... and they had not yet relaxed into themselves
they needed 2 more minutes ... after you cut it to allow all the juices come to protect itself
they needed 2 more minutes ... while you listened to something that made the details, the minute details of that moment, come to life on a whole new level of sensitivity.

yes, mangos are some of the sexiest fruits around ... because when they are just slightly overripe they are all so very juicy and messy and sweet ... and now and then, that's the only way to eat a mango!

whew ... anyone else getting ready for mercury & neptune go retrograde next week ... what a doosey of a summer we are in for, good thing there are lots of activities to keep us enjoying our juicy mangos because its summer and what else do you live on in summer than fruit in the desert? ok, some nuts too ... and lots of h2o.

... now for today's blog ... WTF!

so he comes home pinging ... absolutely pinging ... hell, he hung out with andre bocceli (or however you spell it) and his wife today ... how cool is that? but does he talk about that? no ... he talks about some silly stuff that means little if he realizes the context of his life from my perspective ... anyway ... just because I don't feel like listening to him "blah, blah, blah, blah, blah" because i have enough of my "blah, blah, blah, blah, blah" rolling around in my own head (see www.myspace.com/busincessvoodoo "turtle time" blog) to listen to his ... and then he is pushing that "blah" all in my head when i really don't want it, need it, etc. ... ok, what

oh yes. this is where i'm supposed to be the dutiful wife and get dumped all his "blah" and just take it on in addition to my own ... WTF

ok, perhaps after the first orgasm so that i can release some of my "blah" but if you are not going to do that, let me sleep so i can deal with my "blah" on my own. thank you.

and ... don't ... please don't you dare tell me i have to worry about anything. that i cannot do what i need to do to take care of my "blah" in whatever way i need to in order to be happy. "but, what about me?" you ask ... WTF ... do whatever it takes for you to be happy too. why are you spending all that pinging energy watching t.v. instead of doing what will bring you happiness and finish your album? ok. "just do it" i promise that will make you happy (well, if you are honest when you say what you want, that is).

because whether you are a man or a woman, you need to be happy.
do the things you say you want to do in and for your life
and STFU!

note to self ... be the change

to be is all there is

therefore ... if i choose ... i am.
