Val freaking rocks! This woman has more energy than anyone I know! She is a very passionate elph, putting her all into the things that matter most to her. She takes care of her loved ones and makes sure that everything that needs to get done, gets done, even if she is at a point of exhaustion. She is dedicated, creative, caring, beautiful and vibrant. Always making me laugh and always up to join me on whatever our next fun-filled adventure will be! Love you Val!

I first met Val at Saint Mary's Medical center over 23 years ago. I was young and afraid and well, just born. I'll never forget the first words she said to me (ok well, I don't actually remember them, I think they just took me out of the incubator), "Put it back, I want a sister." Luckily so did I.
I wouldn't be where I am without Val, from day one she has always protected me (even slapped a bully for me). Knowing everything she's been through, I know that its possible to go through hell and come out on top and an even better person because of it. Val impresses everyone she meets and has made it possible for me to meet some amazing people ("No way, you're Val's brother!"). Val knew when to hold my hand and when to let me learn on my own and like a Elphish Sha(wo)man has guided me through the trip that is my life. So thank you Valerie my sister; my best friend; the Keebler Elph!

Val, I love dancing with you, I will try not to mortally wound you next time, but then it wouldn't be a party, would it?? ;-)
