Public blathering... too many words
I just got my new Shabori Borealis veil by Dar. There are not enough words to describe my joy. It is perfection on silk. I hope she took a picture for her portfolio. I don't have a way to photograph it. When it is debuted in June I will have pics to post.

I love it so much it has inspired me to take a new direction with the costume I was planning for it. 
Better late than never. Just a quick photo of me at my table before the doors opened. This was the last time it looked so neat and tidy ;-)

The only thing worse than a migraine is a tension/stress headache because of the suddenness and severity of the pain. I get them too. Not much over the last 8 years but I used to get killers... sometimes they'd only last 5-15 minutes.

Update... slight change to the choreography. The 2 Moon Goddesses will dance double-veil with 6 Stars doing candle dance (yes, real candles, lit) around them. Then we lay the candles, lined up, across the front of the stage like foot lights and do...

about me
Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The family moved to Ottawa in the summer when I was 4 months old. I've lived here most of my life and love it. When I was 19 I went to Victoria, BC where I lived for 3 months, then I went up north to Prince Rupert where I stayed until November. I was back in Ottawa late in November. I lived in Montreal for a year and a half in the early 90s, then went to upstate New York to work for 10 months but was not considered a resident because I was required to return to Canada every 15 days or less.
In 2002 I sold my house (Bolton Bed & Breakfast) and started travelling the world. I came back to Ottawa for Christmases and summers but was travelling for 19 months. Now I'm back in Ottawa and have been for over2 years.
