Fringe beading done...

... now to shape and embellish the sateen to make the belt part.

This is the text from the in-progress picture that I've deleted:
Wish I'd done a before picture.
This started life a a fring of 72" long and 42" wide. The Sateen top is a rod pocket.
Each fringe was threaded onto a carpet needle and poked through the bottom of the pocket just above the seam. Then pulled through so that the loop formed was about 7-8 inches above the end of the longest fringe which is about 31" long. Then all three strands were knotted together under the bottom of the pocket and the loops were cut.
This photo was taken during the beading process. Large beads (3mm/.125") were then threaded onto each of the longest fringes and a knot tied just below to hold them in place. The beads are at random varied heights.
