In the Beggining

Before I start my tale and tell you about my first guide puppy, Garth, as good a place to start as any is by answering a question that I often get asked. "How did you get started?" What people really mean to ask is, "How can I get involved," at least that's usually what they mean. I'll try to answer both those questions, but let's start with the first one.

Introduction

So, I guess the best way to start a blog is to tell you exactly what its about. There were a lot of different aspects of my life that I was considering blogging, for example, trying to become a state champion in basketball, or learning to skateboard, or even what its like to have 3 younger siblings, but I decided to blog about what its like to live life raising a guide dog. I chose this topic because it is unique and really quite interesting. I have so many great stories to tell about guide dogs and hope that everyone enjoys them.
