We're going to be covering glow poi, flag poi, veil poi, and last but not least, fire poi and how they can be used by the modern belly dancer. This class is appropriate for cabaret, tribal, or my personal favorite, tribaret dancers. Our tarantula molted again, same time as last year! She is huge now, I think about 5" across. Well, her legs are longer than my fingers!!! We also have a black widow spider now. She is a large specimen too. Very beautiful and scary! We have her safely sequestered. She recently made an egg case, but we had to remove it for fear that we would end up with 700 little spiders, many of which could turn into the highly poisonous female of the species.
