about me
I took a class in Middle Eastern dance 8 years ago. I don't think I did so well mainly because I was unaccustomed to the absolute nakedness of emotion and sentimentality that comes out while dancing. I've always been one to keep emotions in and it took some work to let go and become an actress.
After that first class I studied dance videos off and on- it's been more on in the last few years. I'd love to join another class. I know I'm missing out on valuable instruction. I was recently promoted at work and I have very limited free time but am currently looking for classes locally. I know I am still a beginner and hope I haven't learned to many bad habits from going without real instruction for so long. At the moment I am the only one I know who dances and I really want to connect with some other dancers.

Still sad about Kyrie (blog entry) Our lovely cat passed away last monday. She had been ill- fluid was filling her lungs. We spent almost my months salary having the fluid withdrawn twice and some hospitalization. She Survived both those traumas and coped well with taking 4 pill... read more

Things were not going well so my husband and I prepared ourselves for the worst, gave her the best vet. care we could but we knew it was only a matter of time.
