Tang dynasty (A.D. 618-907) During the Tang dynasty Courts, Water sleeve dances were performed as vignettes that framed a moment in a much longer narrative. Sharing some costuming information with fellow Costumers and Dancers. We all love the feel of Silk. Silk is wonderful for dancing. It has that "airy" "floating" quality that takes our costumes to that next level.

That was cool. I saw a video of her dancing when she was only 9yrs old. She was amazing then. But, wow! She has gotten really good.
