I am Kaitlyn. I am a Kreatrix and an infinate open channel for light and love:) My body is the earth, is the universe, is the cosmos. I am happy and evolving. I am driven by and passionate about exploring the mystery, embodying love and alchemising bliss. I am at home everywhere I find myself whether I am alone in the desert or in a busy city center. I am intuitive, strong, optimistic, confidant and grounded. I am an artist who works well in many mediums. I am responsible and dependable. I am a good friend, listener and observer. I am a Kundalini Dance facilitator - alchemist of bliss, self healing and ecstasy, a multi-sensual visionary, a lucid dreamer, a spinner of magick. I am here to facilitate, embody, and channel flow of love and connection between worlds. I am an integral link to provide action and creation towards a sustainable world of social unity, individual freedom and the realization of our full potential. “We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.”
I was born 26 years ago, and raised on a remote island on the northwest coast of Canada, in an isolated cabin beside the ocean. For most of my life my closest neighbours have been whales, otters, salmon, deer, eagles and the many other animals that I shared my vast habitat with. I learned to interact with my environment through close relationships with the earth, living self-sufficiently, gardening and growing my own food, fishing, sailing, kayaking, canoeing, camping, hiking, swimming, figure skating, skiing, snowboarding, and wilderness expeditions.
I have grown up working closely with horses. I am an experienced handler, nurturer, and rider. From close interactions with animals I quickly learned to be calm, patient, nurturing and serene in my relationships with other beings in order to harmonize and communicate. Close contact with animals has helped me to learn the synergistic inter-connections between all beings in the cosmos.
Growing up I spent a lot of time out of class learning about the world and traveling with my parents. I continue to explore living in different cities, experiencing different cultures and going on national and international journeys.
I have been deeply involved in national and international science fairs, creating and exhibiting experiments and projects. I won numerous awards at all levels, including a gold medal at an international Science Fair in Taiwan. I learned that I could ask important questions about my world and find answers to them for myself. My project topics focused on looking at my own environment to discover things that apply to the world on a global scale. I learned about global warming, the carbon cycle, ultraviolet radiation, ozone depletion and their effects on the earth. My projects revealed to me that we must shift and heal now if we are going to be able to live in wholeness, sustainably, with our earth and carry on as a species. Creating projects and presenting them helped me to learn by analyzing the world around me and taught me how to communicate the knowledge I have with others by using interactive, multi media / multi sensual experiences and one-on-one human communication.
I have achieved a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts. In my studies I learned about the powerful role that art plays to influence people emotionally through sensual interaction. I studied empowering education philosophies, institutions and people that encourage hands-on involvement, action, creation; and one-on-one balanced educator-student interaction, communication and learning. This type of learning encourages and nurtures one’s ability to discover knowledge for one’s self, from within, rather than looking to authority outside of one’s self.
I have been developing leadership skills in order to help empower others. I am a certified Kundalini Dance facilitator, empowering myself and others to heal through trance-formative ecstatic embodiment. I’ve worked in elementary school classrooms, coached figure skaters and horseback riders, and I’ve been involved in youth empowerment groups in a number of communities. I have taken part in: leadership and kayaking training courses, art therapy workshops, and empowering ‘at-risk’ youth workshops.
In my present day-to-day life I am facilitating Kundalini Dance sessions, taking a Sustainable Business Graduate School Program, and focusing on researching and implementing arts and experiential based empowering education. I am networking through multi-dimensional and inter-tribal grids, community building, and living with a close group of people who work together. I am co-creating monthly not-for-profit events that encourage and help to sustain independent artists and community workers, and promote a sustainable society. I am supporting myself as an independent visionary artist; exploring alternative ways of living, and discovering the many ways in which the universe provides for me all that I need to fulfill my potential.
I am furthering my education in alternative teacher training, photography, ecstatic dance, carving, healing, visionary work, trance, lucid dreaming, yoga, contact juggling, music, permaculture and many other skills to help myself and others evolve and live sustainably with the earth and the cosmos.
By helping to co-create the seascape experience I intend to continually fulfill my potential, provide example, council, and inspiration to others, and build community. I encourage and empower others to take an active role in the creation of their own lives as integral elements in the manifestation of the whole.
Life is so beautiful, so magickal, so mysterious. Let’s focus our energies on working together to allow for our total freedom and infinite potential. Life is art. Create what you want!
