I am a recovering amputee (lost my leg below knee in 2007) some idiot knocked me off my Yamaha 535 V twin. I miss riding my bike, couldn't face going back to it, but I'm dancing again and teaching dance which is an absolute delight and honor.

Hi. Im Tracey. I was very disappointed to find no web site or help group for amputees who are very active. It is a real fight to be very active and there should be a site for us to exchange ideas and share what we go through.

I looked around and couldn't find a site for determined and active amputees anywhere. There are plenty of limbless advice centers, but what about those of us who do more? Or want to?

This is a tribe where we can discuss what we do and how we do it. Personally I was a professional Dancer before my accident and I am returning to professional dancing now two and a half years later. I also go mountain biking and horse riding. I am below knee left leg amputee.
