they have a pearlescent vinyl in a shade called "coconut", but it's out of stock right now... i could have sworn they also had a glitter tape that was iridescent glitter on clear tape (to add shimmer to other colors), but i can't find it anywhere...

actually, it was postponed... no word yet on the new taping date. they've narrowed down who they want me to bring -- women in their 30s and up, not professionals, all different body types... they want to show their viewers what the average pers...

i would bring a couple of hoops and do some hooping afterwards, but i wouldn't enter the competition. a hula-hooping contest at something like this is usually a "let's see who can keep the hoop up" thing, not a "let's bust out some rockstar hoopi...

Xmas day this year was tough. Jack had a raging cold, and as he lay coughing and wheezing on my couch I got a call that my dad had been taken to the hospital. We're waiting for the test results, but the doctors think it might have been a mini-stroke.
