I am tempted to describe Adrienne as a fearless and intrepid scientist, but I know she would object, arguing that she feels all too much. Certainly fear is no stranger in her many edgewalking adventures. I just hope she is able to resist the fate of the character in this Brian Eno song who is "Living so close to danger/even your friends are strangers."
