I'm playing a new role, “the spiritual friend”, it includes the role of the master and many others. It is time to let go of all the old spiritual concepts. That's why I like to be a friend in the spiritual sense, that's a little further than an ordinary friend. So it always depends on the individual and the situation which face one meets, it is always a mirroring of what you need to understand it is a certain lesson about the way to discover yourself
For me this is all a play, Leela, not serious, but sincere. So basically I am both, the friend and the master. This fusion I call the “spiritual friend”. I am always going for something new, because for me enlightenment is an ongoing explosion into the heart and into the source of creativity. One could also call it "the sun of love and creativity". There is no problem to treat me as a friend, perhaps the young generation can understand this kind of friendship. I'm not interested in any tradition, neither western nor eastern. I'm just living beyond the known, the spiritual friend is certainly a contemporary form of Buddha's promise: he called it the “Maitreya”, the friend.
