about me
I was born and educated in South Africa. Coming from an Afrikaner family (of Dutch, German and French descent), I started cooking at the age of 6, and by 10 years old, was preparing complete meals and baking up a storm for my working parents. I soon realised that cooking was my passion.
Since moving to the United States and becoming a vegetarian in 2000, my focus on what I cook has changed; my passion has not. I am a naturist and my philosophy is that there is a strong connection between nudity and food. I create all my own recipes and they reflect my cultural heritage. I love sharing with people the connection between nudism and food--for me, both our bodies and food are a celebration of life and an appreciation of a return to the simple pleasures. My website TheNudeChef provides videos and cookbooks related to vegetarian/vegan cooking and is suitable for cooks of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced. I also started a group called The Veggie Naturist in which like-minded people can share their interests of naturism and cooking. Please note that it is a non-sexual group where the focus is on vegetarianism/veganism and naturism and all members have to be approved by me before joining. You can join from a link on my website.
