is how long i've been with this man, as of today. feels so sweet.

a month ago i meant to share this bit of excitement... many know i broke my shoulder 13 months ago. i never fully healed. mostly, this meant only that my yoga practice suffered, which for me was a major bummer.

just as i was coming to terms with my permanent limitations, this dude was recommended to me. he doesn't call himself any thing in particular. he's kind of a body worker, he says he's a mechanic. in 30 minutes, for $100, he identified several muscles that were in the wrong places (deltoid, bicep, and some others), and painlessly pushed then back into place. i was cautiously hopeful. a month later, i'm still totally healed. it rocks.

the pic here is a forearm balance, a position i couldn't get near a month ago. my shoulder just wouldn't move that way.
