what can one do at the end of the world...?
I'd kind of like the idea of hedonistic indulgence...
but I'm too much of a romantic wimp for orgiastic blowout...
I guess I should try and get a tv aerial and just watch and snack...

There really was a time when I believed I was goign to die at Armageddon at any moment. I admit to behaving very poorly.
Now I am of the understanding that I am quite mortal, and whether we all die at the same moment or not, this moment right now is what is important. So I'm drinking coffee and posting messages to someone a very long ways away, going to volunteer at my girl's school, and work my fabulous job to support my fabulous life. Living the dream, baby! |

The end is not near..in my humble opinion.
were you brought up a Christian, Orpheus? Who told you the end of the world is nigh?... I'm seeing more of a Madmax slow degradation...in the future...not that I allege to have any clairvoyant skills..just a guess.
You're not the only one who seems in some mad rush to get to an apocalyptic ending...I often find it bewildering how many people do seem in a hurry. "when are we gonna get there?" They ask over and over again...like a kid with bad ADD. |

We all have been given a fabulous opportunity as human beings to make something wonderful out of our appearance as a bundle of energy in this specific space/time continuum. Be just here, just now, focusing on just this. Love yourself and all beings unconditionally until your wave folds back into the ocean of primordial bliss.
