Last weekend was Meridian Crown Tournament and my husband fought the by-fights (no interest in becoming crown). However, his Knight and Lady were entrants. Here is what happened;
The day started off very overcast and as the entrants gathered in line for the procession, the skies looked even gloomier. I received the envelope in the mail on Friday.......I have been accepted to the BSNursing Degree program to start in the fall. It has been a long road to go back to school after having a family and all. The program is extremely competitive, they only accept the top 65 people and then they start a waiting list for everyone else. I am one of the few who got in on the first try. Yaaa me! Caley has informed me that I must update my blog since I released such a bomb that I have remarried. Well, here it goes; As most of you are aware, Heldo and I have lived together but were seperated in order to raise the children together. At the beginning of last year we decided to divorce and he moved out in May. A divorce must have a 90 day waiting period before you go before a judge to have it signed. Wow, I have never lived someplace where it actually snowed. I am not talking about the sleet, slush, ice we get in Austin but real fluffy snowflakes. Heldo called me from work to tell me it was snowing but when I looked out the window, nothing but an overcast windy day. An hour later I see soft little snowflakes coming down everywhere. Wow, it is really pretty and GREEN here! But (and no offense) there are some really slow people out here. But when I moved from the land of friuts and nuts to the great state of Texas, I though people talked slow there too.
Traffic is not an issue really in and around Nashville-4 lane freeways with an HOV lane (what a concept).
