I'm Kael. Student, teacher, explorer, sociologist, professional bum, artist, lover, cuddler, friend, bipolar, chunk of star dust coming to terms with this time spent conscious and self aware.

I've spent some time in Los Angeles, Chicago, Chiang Mai, Bangkok, The Hague, Salt Lake City, and San Francisco when not traveling. I just moved to Union City in the SF bay area.

I have 650 kids already. They are the children I taught while in Thailand, but I feel more like a father/brother/playmate to them. I'm in the process of creating an NGO to facilitate aid helping underprivileged children in Northern Thailand and the hilltribes buy food and school materials.

My "work" experience includes teaching English in Northern Thailand, a survey of sea gypsy villages following the Tsunami, living with the homeless in Chicago, helping assisted care of the elderly, coaching special needs soccer at the Special Olympics IL and hockey, tutoring, freelance writing, shipping at a textbook warehouse, front desk at a YMCA, waitering, cooking and serving at the BYU Missionary Training Center, volunteering at my local Theravadan Buddhist temple, and fire performances.

Just get to know me sometime, I hate limiting articulation of the self to social networking description fields. ^ ^

Hitchhiking/backpacking/traveling, fire performance, beating up pimps of child prostitutes, bribing officials in corrupt countries, learning and teaching the human experience, being totally inappropriate at the appropriate times, becoming completely and hopelessly lost anywhere and with anyone who wants to find out about themselves more than they want to find out about where they are.
