sure bush and company are evil and distructive, consumed with greed, hatred and delusion - and it is easy to hate them. but the problem lies deeper - there are many of his ilk and there always will be. i'm not saying we don't need to fight for change, because we do, and we should all be working for it. but we also need to look inside and see we also have some greed, hatred and delusion in our hearts. the change we would like to see begins right here with us. Gandhi said "You must be the change you wish to see in the world." he also said "Hatred ever kills, love never dies; such is the vast difference between the two. What is obtained by love is retained for all time. What is obtained by hatred proves a burden in reality for it increases hatred."

it's become clear to me that change needs to begin here at home and then radiate outward.
