well, seems the cancer was invasive but no telling where it went.. if it did at all. Now I'm preparing for another surgury on april 20th. Going in to take some lymph nodes and surrounding tissue and i guess an ovary for good measure. I'm hopeful that they won't find anything more. I just finished my 1st week of work...it was nice to get back to all those cute furry faces coming in to see me. For the last 3 days I've celebrated a near miss. The doctor told me he was SHOCKED by my pathology report. Seems they found cancer in my cervix, in a place where it would not have shone on pap smears for a long time. He told me that the fact that I had my surgury right now, could very well have saved my life.
