What's New!!
Finally I got to put my lawn furniture out this morning. The weather man says it will be good for a few days so maybe I can finally get to sit on it. We put up tiki torches around it to keep the critters away. Can't wait for evening to come!!

I have made it through a week and so far so good. It has been a very emotional and chaotic week of not knowing what may happen. We have taken all the steps we can to stay safe. Now it is up to a higher being than me to protect us. I have done all that is humanly possible to stay safe. The police patrol past our home several times throughout the day and night. I feel like I am in the eye of a hurricane waiting for the storm to come. I have dreaded this day for so long and now that it has come all I can do is try to live my life the best that I can until I know this is over and done. I feel like I am floating from day to day just trying to cope with the mundane things that you call "normal." I pray to all the Gods and Godesses to keep my family safe and help us weather the storm that is coming. The storms' name is Chris.

I am having a terrible time going to sleep at night right now. I am sure a lot of it is stress. I lay down and I am wide awake and listening to every sound in the house. I jump at every little noise day or night now. I am trying to relax and count to ten but it isn't working. It was a wild weather day here in Wyoming yesterday. There were a total of 6 tornadoes sighted in a space of 45 minutes yesterday afternoon. Three touched down that we know of but thankfully not a lot of damage and no one hurt. We get our share of storms in the summer but this is really early for this type of activity.

I am 53 years old and have been married for 29 years on the 26th of June. I have 4 boys and consider myself a "young' grnadma!! I am currently not working due to some health issues-nothing fatal thank goodness!! I love to read- especially Nora Roberts and Lisa Jackson books!! I also read the Country Weekly magazine faithfully to see what all my fave musicians are doing. I love all kinds of music-country being my favorite. My favorite singer is George Strait. I like to garden-especially spring flowers. I sew and am creative. I collect Porcelain Dolls-Victorian and Indian. I would like to travel to some new and exciting places. Game plan is to move to Vegas in the not too distant future!! I am a diehard days of Our Lives and Young and the Restless fan. Thank heavens for tivo to record them when I am not home!!
