this is completely ridiculous for a number of reasons, not least of which: how would we do integration using partial fractions!?
They spelled my name wrong (what else is new?), but check it! On official City of Pittsburgh stationery and everything! Does this make me an honorary furry now?

Girl Talk was amazing, as expected. It was made truly incredible by a stellar grouping of friends, not-so-old and newish. It's not exactly my favorite style of music (gasp!), but I love to dance and it had been a while.....besides, the technical skill and aplomb with which this dude does his thing is truly something to be seen. Well, here are the results of our highly questionable voting for tonight (see attachment). Ironically, the most popular dishes were almost completely unrelated to our agreed-upon theme ingredients, with the notable exception of Teppy's lamb fondue which did contain a significant, arterial clogging and delightfully tasty amount of brie cheese (my suggested theme ingredient, as it just so happens [shameless plug no. 1]) and was clearly enjoyed by all, or at least me, on a much deeper than pala...

so, g and i scampered off to cincy on monday to watch some of the tennis tournament that's being held out there. it was fun; really fun. if you have even a slight interest in tennis, there's nothing like going to one of these things and seeing it in person. you can wander around the grounds and watch lower-level players, or even big-name ones, play early-round matches on small courts - close enough to see beads of sweat and hear them talking to themselves. we watched max mirnyi (aka "the ...
