greetings from africa== here the food is good= the people are gorgeous and the saharan wind is blowing sand in my eyes= i am happy= i love africa= i managed to bring 150 pound of medical supplies to this clinic in the rural village i am staying in called ndem= i am living with a bayefall community= they are a sufi order here in senegal= they pray with every act of service they do for their community= and they sing songs to allah as they work= and in the evenings=i am living in the dara= the spiritual center of the village with the spiritual leader serigne boboucar and his aife songa aissa and their children= they have taken me in= i have a new senegalese name= mamjara mbow= oh i am so happy to be home here= i have been volunteering in the clinic during the week and i am on call for births tho no babies yet= so i wait and study my french and learn from these amazing african people= my son forest = who is 16= is arriving in less than a week= ahh= africa is going to blow his mind= and i get to watch how this changes him=then forest and i fly from senegal east to mali= there my beloved malick will pick us up and we will be staying with friends of his there= inshalla== and then forest and i are planning on hiking from village to village in the rural area of east mali= called the dogon country= so much to tell and so little time to type on this confusing french keyboard where the letters are not in the usual place== i must go now= they are calling me to eat== i am gaining weight here= they make me eat so much== much love mon amis and jamm rekk (only peace)
