Gypsy Caravan....
Is anyone gonna go to the Gypsy Caravan event in Muncie?

Man...i'd love to experience that! I've been reading their newsletters for quite sometime and I really like what Paulette writes. Their costumes are always colorful and fun too!

why do i belly dance??
The first time I saw a live belly dancer was at a friend's barn party. Her daughter had just moved back to our area from Texas and she wanted to dance for the folks at her mom's party. She wasn't shy about moving and she wasn't shy about her body. She moved with confidence. It was that very confidence that inspired me. I desired that fearlessness.

My belt....
I made a ribbon/yarn belt. it's got beads & tassles...and leather...and...it laces. it's sorta pirate-y and different...and i really love it. sorta like the one in the pic....mine is blackish and earthy. i hope someday...to choreograph a dance to a Loreena McKennitt song...maybe #5 on An Ancient Muse cd. i forget the title..but it's very moving. or maybe a #5 from my other cd that i can't remember the name of right now. ian likes the instruments on that one...and so do i. maybe...someday..whe... read more
