Really, that's all there is to it. You introduced me to this medium called Tribe and I'm meeting new people and old people all who come from the same place you and I do.
And it's cool, really cool. I'm going to my first Faire in I don't know how long - WAIT! Yes I do!! I went to Black Point in 1992 and played all day long. Had a blast actually. But Dickens will be my first since then.
And I've got the bug to reengage with all these people gone by.

Is it possible to find paradise, once lost? What if we didn't know it was paradise in the first place?
Certainly the progeny of Eve have been searching for millenia for what was lost. It's questionable if that little slice of heaven can be rediscovered.
But what about in our own lifetimes? If we have experienced paradise, but then lost it, can it be found again? I don't know.

God, here I am cruising around the different connections here on Tribe, and I find ALL THIS STUFF. Pictures of everyone, Jane, Catt, Kimi, the Scudders. They bring back so much.

I had the greatest dream last night. Had to do with establishing an intentional community of sustainability loving former and future Faire folk.
There I was, helping rehab an old barn - the only building on this property that this group of us aquired somewhere north of the Bay (Sonoma? Mendocino?). I'm a non-conformist, community valuing, semi-concious, believer in "peace, love, and understanding" (thanks Elvis), hippie from the wrong decade.
