I have been a body of caverns where white birds have dwelt deeply withinTheir wintered wings restful and soundless upon perfect eggs in fragile nests
They've kept warm a place where darkness drips
Where hot tears run like streams upon cold stone
Yet here inside this secret place my white winged birds do hatch
Winged and restless a flutter inside my chest
They've grown like pearls upon fertile depths
A crystaline beauty is what they've kept in caverns beneath my winter pale skin
I am lapis eyes and ruby lips
I am moonstone skin and opal bone
I am an abyss of caverns where diamonds hide
Where fine feathers have nested in my ancient bones and swam upon emotion vast
They've flown through woven passage ways where the only lights are feathers white
They've been in search of ruby rooms to find my kisses, and lapis pools to find my eyes
Upon one kiss a bird flys freely singing sweetly as she leaves me
For she has left me with rubys on my lips and silvers upon my word
She floats upon strands of gold and green gently weaving chords into harmonic form with wings wide and even
Into the night she takes her flight like a sliver of moon wild and white with love like wind beneath her wings
She takes her perch upon cold stars inside the cavernous night
She carries dreams beneath her wings and whispers them secretly into soft winds
For she has perched on the star that I have wished upon
She sings to my star all that dwells within the bursting seams of my heart
When her wind songs come for us we shall feel its calm upon our moonstruck skin
And as the wind dreams our fragments into form we shall know white feathers have carried us in all our moments
Embracing
A deeply hidden carvern coldTis where a telling tale be told
A sentient awakened therein a dream
A world within, til now unseen
As snowscapes cause all life to hide
She dove within to seek inside
A beaming, glimmering mirror of light
Tragicly shattered now, a loss of sight
A daring task to recollect
Fragile shards she must reflect
Immersion unto a shadowy sea
Beneath such depth lay her key
Unlock the door child of forgetting
Or forever unlive your life regretting
So close your eyes and closely listen
There you'll see untold beauty glisten
The patience of a spark inside
Unfreed flames you hold and hide
A warmth you've not felt til now
Alas, a woven tale shall now endow

Body of The MotherThe swaying motion of her advancing body was deliberate and cautious. Her power and strength beneath me was to be trusted. In return she allowed herself to trust me. Her force was fluent in her motions. This fluency was the language of her spirit. I whispered to her soft words I knew she could never recognize, though I allowed her to sense my intent and feel my peace. Yet deeply within her, she possessed such a wild, magestic grace, a power that could never be harnessed. A certain animation from within guided her, I thought, as she nibbled on tall grasses which lined our path. A nursing mother horse and her young colt guided my way toward the mouth of the jungle. A graceful vessel, a graceful arrival.
The midmorning sun was strong and unshaded. The last drops of dew were quickly disappearing. Like tiny molecules of life returning to their source. They left behind a parched, dusty path. Many months of dry season had taken a toll on much of the wild growth. In those moments I felt I must be honest with myself. I felt as the parched grasses before me. Many moments drained from me, essential parts of me lacking, yet continually resiliant and insisting upon growth. Despite the scarcity of water, shortly we we were blessed by heavy grey clouds. They idled lazily above the treetops, for the green season was about to give birth to an abundant cycle. An impatient outburst of wind rose up and quickened the clouds until they hung only moments away from rain. A light drizzle on my exposed skin contented me. I welcomed its refreshing quality, for temporarily I felt relieved from the humidity which seemed to drench the atmosphere. The element of rain had a way of reviving my senses and bestowing a keener awarness within and around me. The rain swept through the vast land, carrying with it a dripping silence. A certain calm enveloped the unseen creatures within the leafy depths. Rippling echoes of repetitive droplets cascaded from leaf to leaf. Each leaf met my ear somewhere beyond my own sight. Vibrancies of green were renewed. The healing waters spoke a language of purity and vitality. The land gratefully accepted the much needed water. It was as though it may be remembering a life closer to its source after many months in despair. The dry season had now come to the end of its cycle. The earth gasped in every drop and with every drop took a piece of me with it. Gently, as the rain and earth filled me, we spoke in silence. For silence is a language I have come to know well, its voice is of a most harmonic rhythm. The warm earth smelled of damp roots, sweetly blossoming growth, and endless decay. A dear friend once told me "you are pretty, pretty like the land is...like the mountains across the gulf." I felt myself as one with the land, as possessing that same elemental beauty. I am never seperate from its source.
Steadily we followed a shallow, stoney river edged with low growth. The rivers flow naturally meandered through a narrow valley. I gently persuaded my horse upon every river crossing. She hesitated and steadied herself within its current and on the loose rocks beneath us. The exquisite jungle towered above us on either side of the valley. It seemed to lean subtly toward me, its limbs waving a friendly welcome. It bristled in all its glory and seemed to reach limitlessly toward the down pouring heavens above. The trees expanded in the breeze as if to inhale a deep refreshing breath. Like earthly lungs, delicate yet sustaining. As they exhaled they exploded into one million shades of green. Its lush canopy waving and swaying fluidly in a current of foggy air. It seemed to lapse as waves on a green leafy ocean. My gaze freely sailed on the everchanging landscape. Though soon my attention turned toward my horse. My beautiful horse, my selflessly serving vessel, she was now reluctant to move further along. Her young colt released a high pitched whinny and froliced playfully toward us. I attempted to kindly coax them forward. Stubbornly she remained. Her refusal to advance was soon revieled to me. I recognized her colts need for milk as his warm body aligned with hers. He quietly suckled as she turned her left eye around, toward me. She met my eyes briefly with a strong maternal glint. Her eyes embodied the many years of her serving life. I could feel her swollen belly contract between my calves as her colt drank thirstily. I was glad to have patience for her. Part of me felt a burden on her back. I could only prey that her life lived in the hands of humans was a life lived in harmony.
Alas, a farewell to the beautiful horses. Their assistance could take us no further, for the incline of our path was much too steep. I was grateful for the gift of my horses sheer strength and endurance. I carefully dismounted her and carressed her strong jaw. She had been lovely to me. I saw myself reflected in her deeply brown eye. I silently wished her and her colt well as I turned to face my steep acsent into the dense jungle.
Burdened by the weight of my gear, I took my first slippery step into a world unknown.
Saturation
Humidity clinging to every fibre
Sweat from every pore
An immersion of rain and mud
Saturation
A certain satisfaction arose from this inevitable, undenyable physical state. I did not resist the elements, nor did they resist me. I gladly gave free licence to the supreme earthlyness of the jungle. Its presence gripped me at all moments, like a new skin forming around my entire body. The path before me was challenging. It required clever reflexes and impeccable footing. Though there were pristine moments when my thoughts were not preoccupied on the winding jungle path. It was in those moments when I truely began to sense the earthen magic of the jungle.
She dances in the shadows
She basks her beauty in the gleaming light
She glistens in the silvery webs of spiders
Her laughter can be seen in the blossom of a flower
She is heard in the voice of insects echoing through the night
Her kisses can be felt as she gently leans her foliage across my path
Her magic takes flight on the wings of brightly coloured birds
She plays with agile monkeys in the brilliance of the canopy
As dusk descends she awakens with new life
She reveals her mischief and mystery beneath a moon with a watchful eye
She bleeds her force toward the within as the moon wanes
Her tears fueled from joy, from sorrow
From destruction she births creation
Lending life for the life of another
She is delicately balanced
Her stillness ceases
Yet within her, stillness may be found
She is within me as I am within her
For I am her and she is me

The Fool and the Prince
You are the prince of liesYour snaking eyes, slithering
Preying on innocent blood
You are birthed from the tree of knowlegde
Sneaking your lies, your venom into its tempting fruits
Fruits too perfect, too seductive for our innocent eyes to deny such nectar
A taste on our palates like sweet blood wine leaching our essence
Your poison living within us, born of the seeds from your crop
Sprouting trees in our bellies, bearing toxic fruit in the landscapes of our minds
Minds so fertile they give birth to your venomous illusions
Leaking fluidly and blindingly into eyes
Eyes now closed to a world of light
Paths now walked blindly
Or paths not walked at all
You laugh, while on your high horse, as your fools stumble and stagger pretending to know the path, to know the truth
Our own innocence devoured your tainted fruit
Our own innocence makes the blind fool you see before you
You, like a clinging fog creeping slowly from a land lingering with lies
Violating and veiling true perception
Unable to see our sisters, our brothers, our fathers, our mothers
Cleverly causing us to kill our own kind, in the name of all your falacies
Blood now on our hands
Now locked in the making of our own prison
Lives laced with judgment
Souls seeking love they think they do not have
Lives sinched with fear, in discrimination, in ignorance, such is the pulp of your intoxicating fruit
Fear we are weakened by
Easily strung into dangling puppets
Fear we only feel with the acceptance of your lies
Souls seeking a creator they believe they have never known
Blind and numb from your poison, unable to feel the eternal embrace of a creator they know perfectly
Remembrance will remedy
Your smirk curled lips in the face of our death,
Death by your venom
For paradise truely remains amongst all your masks
Skilled warriors, our eyes awakening from a wounded, nightmarish slumber
Warriors of pure light
Warriors blessed with truth seeing sight
With earth as our battle field, may sentient beings unite
Channeling eternal light to peacefully fight
Blazing sight into your shadowy, lurking lies
For lies keep no place in our paradise
With truth as our finely tempered weapon, we cut through your illusions
We shall discern what is anciently ours
Truth unbound will win our victory
We are birthed of the tree of life
Born eteranally noble and true
In the spirit of our true roots, we honour you
Oh Prince of lies, we offer absolute compassion
For you are the deeply seeded root of all suffering
Slowly we will sever your snake like head and with it suffering shall cease
Empress Moon
Drawn by your fearless faceyou pool into my pupils
A reflection of yourself
I pool into your Mysterious sky
A reflection of myself
Like a celestial ocean, so deep I might be swallowed into its eternal belly, and give birth to myself
Held up on your blue velvet throne, ruling your waters below
I am fashioned by the sweet blood of you
A child of the moon
Nestled so purely in paradise fields of stars
Like a sacred embroidery on the most magical blanket
A textile so vibrantly blue, so woven it holds us in its ever loving, lasting embrace
Children of the moon we are
Kept in icy white pyramids of moon struck love
You are a sacred egg in the most fertile nest of night
Bleeding your milk white force toward all tides in me
Your presence dancing so divinely, gracing the limbs of trees
Limbs which swell with your spirit
Their shadows like deep mystic viens bleeding toward a cool calm earth
You think you may die in her touch
The breath of such an unbound enchantress on your moon swept skin
Fear not to sleep where she may grace you, you with all her light
For she is the churning of the primal sea
A quickening of the tides in me
Her crescent marks us deeply
Oh gaurdian of all wombs in the world
Sweet moon calf carried by your love for her
We Shall be carried on her departing tides
We will forever grow with you
We will forever decline with you
We are forever part of you

Prayer
Oh Divine MotherYou embody all the affections of our ancestors
Please weep your rains on wounds ripped into you
I ask of your fertile waters to cleanse your devastated land
Let your yielding winds flow
Caress me with your gentle power
Whisper life into my soul
Like a quickening flame
Blowing, swirling spirals sweep me away and release me into the sweet scent of dawn
Turn toward a new day to reveal the brilliant sun
To kiss my face once more with the warmth of your loving affection
When the suns time comes to sink beneath a darkening horizon,
Captivate me in the dancing romance of pink twilight
When the darkness veils the land, I dream and you speak to me
You speak in the spirits of animals
In the tallest of trees
And the secret silence of the oldest stones
You may show us no mercy
Never shall we weaken your core
For the fires within will always be yours
You never cease to reveal your strength, your weakness
Your voice is strong and ultimate
It is heard in the tears of famine
In the exhale of a soldiers last breath
In the pain of disease
In the cruelty of abuse
Yet in all your lunacy, I witness your soft eternal beauty reflected in the depth of a midnight sky
I am hypnotized by the great mystery
As I look up and see your reflective skylite eyes
I am dazzled as my moments transcend into the cosmic harmonics
Caught on a cloud of universal current
I am as free as the birds who dance among lofty breezes
Liberate me with their melodious chorus
So I may thrive within my senses and retreat within my soul
As the redolence of approaching rain greets me and subtly speaks of electric skies
I ask you to bless us with your strength as we consume you
Scarring you, injecting you with the poison of ignorance and greed
Serenity loses itself in moments
Soon to be hidden in the passage of time
I pray for your lasting beauty and prevailing vibrance
As I dream my way before me
I colour your flowing curves only with complimenting radiance
May we awaken to you
May we recognize, and respect you in all your bounty and all your beauty
May we do you justice
Oh Change Mother
Self Changer
She who adapts
Tempt us with your purity
So we may care for you lovingly
May we breath you in with every ounce of our being
Bring forth truth and consciousness with the rising of the flaming light who owns you
One Body
One Mind
One Soul
One Love
Freedom
I am a Dancing SoulNever too Tired to Dance
It is the Dance That Energizes
Life and Soul
So Dance With Me Beloved
You Know the Steps
Of our Joy
Our Rapture
As We Surrender
And Die as One
To the Love
And The Truth
So Let Me Kiss You With Colour
And Caress You With Sound
As We Spiral Up
Towards The Ultimate Union
