Bellatrix does amazing work! She made a gorgeous belly dancing outfit for me that I love, makes me feel so much more confident and beautiful. She was very easy to communicate with, to hash out what I really wanted and needed, so the outcome was the gorgeous outfit of my dreams. The work was done in a very timely fashion, and the whole process was pain-free. I could go on and on, gushing over how happy I am - instead, I will just say that anyone who is considering having her make something, should proceed with confidence in her skill, design judgment, and professionalism.

Tempest is phenomenal when it comes to costuming. She could put a drag queen to shame (or make 'em proud) w/her knowledge of make up and most would be envious of her make CASE as well. :) She constantly inspires me to think outside the box when it comes to belly dance fashion and will always be my go to girl for costuming advice. Thanks for helping us all look amazing dahling. You try you like!

about me
I love pin-up girls, tattoos, vintage cars, and TALL men with wallet chains, gorgeous smiles & goatees. I love love love cookbooks, the Harry Potter series, and movies like Fight Club. I've been told that I have one of those smiles that lights up my whole face. I just might chuck it all to follow in Shirley Muldowney’s footsteps. I'd rather be playing craps at the Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas right now. I've been told that I'm brutally straight-forward, and I don't understand why honesty is such a rare commodity with most people. I get along well with most people who enjoy swing dancing, Kevin Smith movies, Las Vegas, BELLYDANCING!, theatre, Lowe's, concerts or live music, vintage cars, USC football, art galleries, Frank Sinatra, friendly debates, trying new foods and Vargas Girls...

I just wanted to thank everyone who rang in on either chopping my hair off or the possibility of me switching to 4-10's in my day job! :) I really do listen to ya'll -- like to hear lots of sides to the story while it rambles around in my own head a bit.
To give a little update on both situations -- as you can see above, I *did* decide to chop off the tresses! :) I like it quite a lot -- it's soooooo much lighter & immeasurably easier to take care of. Last night it took me 10 minute...

So, my day job has recently given us employees the option to do 4-10hour days instead of 5-8hour days (to try to help employees save money on gas -- I love my company). And I'm thinking about doing it. That means I would work M-Th from 6:30am - 5:30pm (I am currently doing 7am-4pm, so the early morning thing doesn't freak me out like it could with some people). Which would mean I would have Fridays off PERMANENTLY. For all time.
One really cool upside to this would be that (a) it would...

Totally inspired by Bibia, I am thinking of whacking off my hair into a cute, angled bob cut like the one I had above MANY moons ago.
I am just SO sick of my hair lately. It takes HOURS to make it look nice (between blow-drying, velcro curlers, etc etc etc), otherwise it just hangs there all lifeless. So I get irritated with it & just wear it in a ponytail most days. I want something that will look nice without having to do a full-blown 2-hour styling process on it. And if it were a ...

I don't know about you, but for me it's hard to sort through all of the rhetoric to decide which candidate shares my views on what's important to me (hence making it difficult to decide whom to vote for, especialy when they all sound SO much alike). Here's an interesting website to help you out:

You put in your views, and what their ranked importance to you is, and they'll tell you whose platform it is most like. Interesting. I was certainly surprised. I was m...

Yeah, Hassan - I covet your Chuckie Cheese coin belt too. I would jack you for it if I weren't afraid you you kicking my a** with your let pinky ALONE.

Can't you replace the laces with something longer so you can adjust as needed?
