one of my girls has a cough, should I be worried. the expression is ' a sick goat is a dead goat' and I sure as hell dont want that.

round bales

I have never used round bales. what is your opinion of them over regular bales. I thought I would put one out it the paddock and let my three dairy goats and two calves nosh off of it.

We are having an amazing party for my wifes 40 th, so in tribute to her I was planning on carving a totem pole out of a tree i cut down this winter. I am a wood worker, and I have done carving before and used a chain saw but I have never carved a pole before. Has anyone out there made one and do you have some helpful advise. Thanks

I have been trying out a different wax from my Dreadhead stuff. It's cheaper and local so I dont have to shell out so much on shipping. This one claims to be pure Australian beeswax. My only concern is that the first ingredient is Petrolatum. I have read Petroleum based waxes were a no-no. Anyone heard of this stuff and is it OK to use. Thank everyone. Peace, Amanda
