I must say, all the responses to my blog made me feel like Dorothy clicking her heals three times ...or something like that.

I've got to say, I don't know what to say....I had no idea anyone would even read the thing.

So I'm still working on what I'd like that dreamteam to look like. ...especially as I get ready to produce a spring event.

One thing I am very interested in in finding a space...a wonderful space...for this night....these nights...
In what may seem to be a city with limited space resources, I am convinced that there is something out there and that more and more
new spaces for these types of things will show up.

Soon I'll be announcing that that I'd like to help create experiences that last more than one night...several days, but do it in a unique way. What that is I can't tell you just yet, because I am not entirely sure, but I have ideas.

You know how we all know each other in the community sense, but sometimes we assume that there are things that folks know about us, just because these things are such a big part of our lives? One thing I realized recently is that not everyone knows that I am an artist. Sure I'm many things, but I love to create and somehow these events/experiences have become a pallet. It's always a little funny when someone calls me a promoter or producer. I really don't care, because I am in part those things for sure, but I think these words effect how we relate to and see each other. All I know is that where I get the greatest joy is as an artist.

As an artist, what I see in my head is far beyond anything I've created (or helped create) yet. Somehow I know it's going to manifest and yet, the day it does, I think I'll still fall to my knees.
I have no idea how this will happen exactly. I can only do my best to keep moving, learning and yes, laughing.

So this dreamteam...

Let's start here:
ASTOUNDING MUSICIANS AND PERFORMERS
A pool of astoundingly talented and fun musicians and performers to work with, who are open to the idea of creating a whole experience which moves beyond any one person being the star. I must say that in part, I've had this opportunity and want to continue expanding it.

MIND BLOWING LARGE SCALE VISUAL/INTERATIVE ARTISTS
same as above...What this whole thing should eventually become is one large piece of living artwork....and the artists working on it, the best of the best.....(of course the word best is relative...)

LAWYER
Yeah, the artist in me resists this one. Although I've worked with lawyers for various things, I'd love one on this team ongoingly to
help the navigation through paperwork and various legalities become effortless, 'cause I wanna do other things. This has definitely got to be someone who is expansively minded and who is
open to creative ways of operating.

GENEROUS, NO STRINGS ATTACHED,SUPPORTERS
I'd love to have some folks who support these things financially. We need that to expand and evolve the creation. You know how you always get those letters in the mail asking for financial support? Well, I'd like to try a different, more creative approach...not sure what that is yet. I know everyone does this because it works on some level, but I keep thinking that there's got to be some alternatives.

On the homefront, I'm in the process of working on alternative means of financing this adventure and it involves merchandise (I wish there were a better name for it) and for that I need investment capitol. Anyone got any ideas?

FUNDING HELPER/FOLKS TO HELP ME TRACK DOWN VIDEO AND PHOTOS
I would love to work with someone who is good at getting funding for these things. It's been one of those things that has been on the plate for so long and it's time to get 'er going. One very positive thing with regard to this is that over the next month or so, I'll be working on a DVD
sampler of past events to use in obtaining funding. With this in mind, I am about to embark on a massive campaign to track down video and photos from our events as quickly as possible. If you know anyone who wants to help me with this, I would be eternally grateful. Having a few folks work on this would be ideal.

I just thought I was getting online for a second.
I'll add to this list, because there's a lot more than that.

I cannot tell you how grateful I am to be part of this whole thing.
