The Gifts Keep Coming

I have been trying to learn to meditate for a while now and the more I try the louder the drunken monkeys get and the larger the mental fun house mirrors are--so the Universe listened and showed me the great gift for free!!
There was a class today on learning this art and the teacher was fantastic and all is what I wanted and more!!!
The fun part is that when I walked into the library ( thought I was late too), I found out that I had plenty of time, and while I was looking around there were some gorgeous kites here for an exhibit, along with free food,and I was able to get a computer for as long as I needed and it's just magic!!!
So the references to the fun house mirrors come from a book called "How to Get Out of YOur Own Way" .
So for this I send out gratitude and blessings to all who read this and would love to read about your gifts..

IRONY

How many things in life make you either want to scream or just throw your hands in the air or just want to smack the crap out of someone!!
Here is my ironic list for now--please add more--there is no end to stupid stuff
1. The very wealthy family of one of those little plastic moronic skinny socialites, will send a limo to pick up her stupidass from jail, but where was it when she was driving while under the influence?
2. These same little twits have the money to have drivers/limos but are so self absorbed that they would never use one except for show!
3.WHAT IF THEY HAD HURT OR KILLED SOMEONE ?
4. There is little or no difference between an "organized" hunt or having dogs fight each other to the death...the death of an animal by these means(except for the idiots in power) is UNACCEPTABLE.

Denver Black Arts Festival

This was an amazing honor for me to be with two beautiful women and have such a wonderful time. Please check Colorado Belly Dance Tribe for the pics as well as Kat's profile.I have been checking the DBAF website for more pics, but none so far.
Although this is one of those paths for my learning experience, it was more positive this year and this has lead to the festival for next month in Aurora as well as meeting a wonderful artist who I will be working with for some modeling--- never thought of myself as a model--but now is the time to quit the resistance and start accepting the wonderful gifts---they are on the way for all of us.

Resistance

We all resist our greatness--witness Mr. Frank Langella.
He is one of my favorite actors along with just being HOT( ok lust aside)-describes how he resisted playing the part of Nixon that won him a Tony .

I think of this when it seems the gifts are there for the taking and all I can do is whine about what I don't think I have.
So now I am on the journey to the path of ease and peace.
We are all powerful beings and deserve our desires.

Movies part 3

What makes you laugh till it hurts----- when my parents came for dinner several years ago and we watched "Young Frankenstein" and my Dad called me the next day to tell me his stomach hurt from laughing so hard.
I thought is was my cooking!
Here is a line that made it for me--
"You have those bedroom eyes ----and those dining room lips".
Even after all this time "YF" is still a hoot along with "I'm Gonna Get You Sucka" ,"A Fish Named Wanda" and "The Life of Brian", along with most of the Saturday cartoon classics---Daffy as the Sherriff and Porky as Little John ----- "ha ha it is to laugh"!!!
And of course my favorites "Wallace and Gromit".
