With my upcoming arbitration this Thursday, I find myself scattered. My emotions are everywhere, my stomach is in a constant knot and my nerves are completely frayed. I thought I was more prepared emotionally, but it would seem otherwise.

It's been exactly 4 1/2 years today. Who would've thought that a hit and run accident would impact my life so. I personally feel like I've come a long ways. Especially when it comes to my emotions, to my mind. I can live with the pain, it's just a fact of life that has come to be, but my emotions have wreaked havoc on my family and myself over these last years. It has been an emotional roller coaster that seemed to have evened out over this last year, as I put the tools that I've learned to work. But now....I feel like I'm at the beginning again....that I'm shattered and pieces of me are everywhere and I'm scrambling to put myself back together again. Reminding myself of the nursery rhyme Humpty Dumpty.

How do you convince a complete stranger that you're in pain? How would they know if they don't live with you, if they haven't been there to see the before and after, or if they've never experienced this pain themselves?

Whatever the outcome...whatever happens on Thursday, this particular part of my life will be over. I will move on to the next chapter and I'm looking forward to what the future holds.

Sitting here deep in thought, I hear the powerful gusts of wind against the trees behind me....I think I'll go outside for a bit to allow the wind to sooth my raw nerves...to help bring me back to center again.

I made this today for myself! I know...I know...it's Father's Day...don't worry I got my hubby a gift....I just got one too...LOL

It's made with sterling silver, and gold filled wire for a two tone look, then a 2 carat lavender CZ.....ohh the corvid in me loves the sparkly baubles!!

Here's my newest project. This is a Koroit boulder opal matrix that I've recently purchased. It's not even close to being done, but after drawing, hammering, and finally coming up with a design I'm happy with, I forged ahead, forgetting how I was going to keep the cabachon from falling out (it's not drilled). I don't want to take away from the stone and the flashes of colors with too much wire wrapping....but I'm sure I'll figure out something. I just wanted to share what I've done so far. I will be adding a small amount of other stones Labradorite, and smoky quartz, to compliment the opal. I'll be sure to post a pic of it when I'm finally finished.

I've actually been able to take some time to sit here and post on tribe....I'm so sad though...for some reason none of my replies are posting :(

So hopefully my blog entry will post! I'm hoping to make it too tribe chat tonight...just have to remind myself! It's at 7pm right???

I've sold 4 Tree of Life pendants and a couple of the wire wrapped pendants similar to the one you see in the picture here. My Etsy shop did well this weekend too with a few orders going to Norway and to Singapore....wow...who'dathunk that my jewelry would go abroad...surely not I. I'll be experimenting with oxidizing my silver next week....I can't wait to see how it will change the look of my Tree of Life pendants. I'll post pics after experimenting with it!
