my concept of a 'guardian angel' is not the winged, otherworldly, celestial made men of God -
but extraordinary, earthly beings who just happen to be in the right place at the right time to contribute the key phrase that switches on the light bulb above our heads, prevent one from making a Total jackass of oneself, aid in another's continued existence and/or otherwise ease the journey.
after this weekend, i am able to give a first-hand account to the fact that Thane is Definitively one such being.
(and i'd like to humbly return your traction devices and offer words of gratitude as soon as my voice returns)

Ah Thane....one of my fondest memories is of Thane appearing out of the darkness at Burning Man, pupils large, and asking to hang out with me and my friend to watch the sun rise after a long long night. We have shared some great times my friend and I appreciate you every time I see you.
