94.7 had their "I saw them when" concert Monday featuring the aforementioned artists. Dirty Martini was fantastic. It's refreshing to see 3 women up there jamming away and trading lead singing duties. Unfortunately, the Crystal forgot to turn on the speakers up in the balcony, and that crowd! On Portland's great alternative radio station, Gustav, their #1 radio DJ does the "perfect playlist" every day at 5pm where you can come in the studio with 5 hand-picked songs and have them played and discussed with Gustav. During the last 2 weeks, my wife has been receiving unknown numbers on her cell phone. Well, one particular unkown number. The guy would leave messages saying that he was from Sierra Springs and that he was asking for a "Carmelita." Being that "Aubry" and "Carmelita" sounds so much alike, she decided to ignore these phone calls and off-handedly question the man's intelligence, hearing, and lineage. I went searching yesterday. I haven't seen Adam in 2 years, not since Grandma Pat died. I think I found him, but he did not respond to my e-mail. I also found pictures.
