more photos in the album. I can still close my eyes and see the crater. The air was so clear there. everywhere I turned was a beautiful vista, or a small, delicate corner filled with things I'd never seen before.

Just got back from Africa. No shit, Africa. Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania is such a beautiful, awesome place. We went at the best time of year, I'm betting. 70-80 dgrees, not much humidity, yellow and purple flowers everywhere, baby zebras and gnus.

jump right in, the water's fine. i don't know why i can spend time doing this but i can't balance my checkbook. guess i'm not in the mood for everyday stuff. but people i love do this so i thought i'd give it a try.

well, mom's doing better. seems like all i think about these days is mom and money. like why can't we have just enough to get by, and i guess we do. mom had a small stroke while having an angiogram performed, and it affected her speech center. the first couple of days was kind... read more
