Wrongdoin' aint the way
While nesting with Sarah, I've gotten sucked into a couple of TV series. Heroes and Grey's Anatomy have taken hold, and I've loved every minute of it. I will say that soaps are soaps, no matter what the genre, but so what. I can't wait to see who explodes, or who's making out over the appendectomy.

Red sand between my toes
Had a blast at the Fiery Bitches fund raiser last night. I managed to find a pimpin' purple coat to wear, and was rewarded with compliments and a kiss on the cheek for it. I got my new hemp (in a beautiful green) rope for my dart, and then shredded my lead hand forefinger, but it was worth it. Small world, I ran into Scott Dupree, of all people. The surrealist times
I've been doing some digging about rope dart moves, tutorials, etc, and found a couple of really good resources, both on YouTube. Found a few new really cool tricks, both wraps and kicks. Sweet.

Last night was somewhat surreal. It was fun, met a new cool, but rather shy, woman named Karen. Right between the eyes, man!
I can't talk today; the right side of my throat feels like someone sticking insulin needles in and pulling every time I swallow. It also has taken almost all my voice, and so I have effectively become a mute. This is a state that Sarah loves, for I have to answer non-verbally, and that means not being able to think about an answer, rather having to just answer affirmative or negative. She'll be so happy when I get home.

This weekend will have some blowout time - Chwdog's birthday/burner meetup, as well the Battlestar Galactica fest on Sunday - but the workup to the blowout is what I'm going for. I've been way to sedentary and getting fat. I've wanted to do some diy mini-remodeling projects around the house since we moved in over a year ago, and I'm dusting off that gland and getting to it.
