The Northwest of Ireland is supposed to lie on chi lines, attracting good energy... so I've heard. It is certainly true, for whatever reason there is a preponderence of alternative health practitioners and creative people in these parts.

One particularly special person is Gill Keogh. She is a tai chi teacher and has the rare honour of being student to Grand Master Chen Xiao Wang, the heir and head of the original style of Chen Taiji Quan, over 400 years old. He is the 19th generation successor to the oldest school in the world. The Chinese Government awarded him the status of of a Living Treasure. He and his son, Chen Ying Jun come to the Donegal area every year to teach workshops and Gill teaches throughout the year. This is tai chi as it originally was meant to be: a martial art, and a meditation with measurable health benefits.
