Hello, chat time :-)

SO, I've noticed that tribe seems pretty quiet at the moment and to be honest I've not had much to say either..but here goes:

Firstly I took this picture last night, How big has my kitty got! and we have five of them. Martin has made me promise no more then 5 at any one time :-(

I had the most amazing Wedding and Honeymoon, but when I got back I developed shingles in my eye(inner eyelid) and cheek on one side of my face, which I have to say was very unpleasant, but thankfully I think I must have had a mild case after hearing peoples horror stories about shingles (Chrissie's was the worst!). Thankfully that's over with.

Oooo, I had my first Bodhaia practise yesterday which was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. we had girly moments, laughs, hugs, zilling and dancing. What more could a girl ask for :-) I've come away wanting to dance better and more often.

Shani, Jenny, Maz, Sindy, Alison and I went to Majma which was fantastic!!!! Carolena and Megha performed to Phil Thornton (Live) and then Philippa and Jesse performed toooo - I love those girls :-)
I took most of C & M's workshops and loved every minute of it. But for me the best bit was getting together with Philippa, Jesse, Kirsty, Lisa and SIndy and watching the new FCBD Devotion DVD. Guys if you love ATS, buy this DVD! (I got mine signed by the Big C herself) . My only criticism was that Nicky and Deana should have been there too..

SO, Sarah has posted details about this years FCBD GS and TT ( tribes.tribe.net/tribaluk/...c1ee8bda7b )
Unfortunately my pennies will not stretch to both, but I have to say I did the GS last year and thought it was one of my best dance moments ever. There was a beautiful Tribal Community feeling and we got to spend three intensive days with Carolena and Megha! I've decided to apply for the TT and have fingers crossed that I get in, so WISH ME LUCK!

I've had so many great things happen to me recently, but I've been quiet down lateley (for no reason what so ever, as life is really good at the mo) and the Doc wants to put me on Prozac and Temazepam, which is a big NoNo in my book (been there before), so I'm thinking that I need to manage my diet better. If any of you guys have changed your diet to improve depression and it worked, please let me know!

first, I can't belive that is a cat. he/she is huge. second, congrats again on the wedding. the pics you have up are awesome. I am so sorry to hear about the shingles. My mom and my father in law had them really bad.

ah...depression....youknow shingles can bring on depression especially if you have a lot of pain with it. I would stay away from the drugs you mentioned also. I have heard diet and exercise can help. That processed foods can make it worse.

stay bright!!!!

That is an enormous cat! Bigger than all 3 of mine put together. I bet you get squashed to bits whilst watching TV.

Sorry to hear about the shingles. They are nasty. They will make you feel down longer than the outward symptoms show. I'd avoid those nasty drugs if you can. Try hypnosis and acupuncture, both work really well for me. I used them to cope with divorce and found them great at lifting my mood and changing the way I felt about myself. And hoop. I know you belly dance too, but don't forget your hoop. The circular motion seems really good at lifting mood.

A good diet is always good. If you have a juicer, get into the habit of juicing every day. Makes you feel great.

I'm better since being vegan - less processed stuff, I think. Don't know of any research to support, but it helps me (although not at the moment...: ( like you, everything's brilliant, but I'm not. Diet gone to to shite this weekend though). I need sunlight & a few hours of losing myself in my hoop.
Damn, that is one big cat! xxxx

Try this!
I think you will find that a diet high in fresh fruit and veg, PLUS Oxygen Therapy tabs and Vitamin B will help with the depression.

Your cat is a Beaut ! What on earth do you feed him/her on?

Hugs.
Anita.

Quincy is a Mainecoon and one of the largest domestic breeds of cats you can get. Imagine what its like taking them all to the vets at the same time. I have 5 of the little beauties :-)

They'd squash my little Lucy-Boo! The other 2 sit on her all the time.

wow what a cat i'd love to see you taking them all to the vets lol. as well as the great diet tips which have been posted i've found that if i make the time to go to the beach for a nice long walk by the sea, or just getting out in the garden for a few hours, walking the dogs, just generally getting closer to nature, and being out in the fresh air has helped me the last few months, Also if your into essential oils maybe a blend using, bergamot, neroli or whatever oil you like or makes you feel uplifted. Congratulations!
HI Denise,

I met up with Rozie in San Diego while she was vacationing here. What a treat to meet her in person. She also told me that you got married and wanted to congratulate you. I hope you and your husband will live a happy and full filled life together.

Oh wow - I just noticed your beautiful Quincey. He is a boy, right? I know my little Urchin is going to get big but will she get THAT big? Knowing it and seeing it are two different things...
