about me
would like to get together with other fire performers in the Longmont and surrounding areas to share moves, music, and safety spotting. I started spinning fire in y2000 after first seeing it at Burningman in 1999, and have been working more on the soulful, artistic dance aspect of it.

it would also be nice to meet and hang with other similar fun, kind, creative, intelligent people, including those who have kids too.

To laugh often and much:
To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children, to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed... read more

There is some kiss we want with our whole lives,
The touch of Spirit on the body.

Seawater begs the pearl to break its shell.

And the lily, how passionately it needs some wild darling!

At night, I open the window and ask the moon to come
And press its face against mine.
Breathe into me.

Close the language-door and open the love window.
The moon won't use the door, only the window.

(This is not my writing below, but I though it was interesting enough to share.)

EUROPE'S RISING SLOW DOWN CULTURE
Reflections on how 18 years of slowing down has improved everything.

By Erik the Swede 20 April 2007

Food for thought: “It's been 18 years since I joined Volvo, a Swedish company. Working for them has proven to be an interesting experience. Any project here takes two years to be finalized, even if the idea is simple and brilliant. It's a rule.

Globalization process... read more
