My Blog

It was bound to happen sooner or later. I just tried not to think about it. I had been nursing what I had hoped was a mild case of tendonitis in my wrist for about 8 months. Yesterday, while attempting to pull an industrial strength staple out, I felt it snap. It really didn’t hurt beyond that moment. It just went weak, and gradually got sore. After considering it for a bit, I reported it, and of course, my employer immediately ordered me to have it checked out. Now I am wearing a wrist brace... read more

My trips to my hometown are few and far between. Besides the physical imposition of 140 miles, there are a lot of ghosts blowing through the slowly decaying town. That combined with a lack of little technological advances I take for granted in the city. My cell phone is useless conversation piece. Some stores don’t accept anything but ‘cash money’.
