Well our midwife gave me the all clear for full activity, so I can hoop once more!! Unfortunately it is pouring and I don't have 15 foot ceilings in our house. Ah well, at least I can hoop and start getting back in shape.

Home from the hospital

Well I am home from the hospital. We chose to have a c-section this time, as the birth of my daughter was 36 hours of labor followed by a c-section anyway.. I went into labor this time an hour before the planned surgury, so I guess baby agree'd with our choice of dates.
Baby is healthy and happy and I will give more info and a pic after the circumcision. Yes we are jewish, but we could not find a mohel to do the circumcision. I converted years ago..perfectly halachic conversion and all, but due to new changes in standards in the rabbinate my conversion is questioned by orthodox communities. Even though my children are raised religious, even orthodox by some standards and that has been our community. That is all they will know, but my baby boy can't have an orthodox bris. Fine! So, we are having a doc due it at 8 days old. Hopefully our now 'old' community will understand why we can't be a part of them anymore. If not, tough beans...

Well it is 8am and we leave for the hospital to have baby brother at 10am (planned c-section this time). No 36 hours of labor followed by surgury anyway for me. (-;
