Been feeling a little...well...wolfish here the last couple of days. Is it the moon? Last night to try and calm down (but it didn't work) I went for a skate and ended up going about 12 miles out without stopping and with only two small swigs of water. It was sooooo enjoyable, as by the time I left my house it was almost dark and pouring rain and sleet and the temperature freezing, but to me it was perfect. It's something that has been pulling on me for a while now, and I just had to go. Enveloped by the darkness and feeling the slicing rain soak my face as I met it head on I drew even more energy from the environment around me. The rawness invigorated me, soothed me, drove me. Granted, what I was doing and where I was not remotely safe, but I kept going without a care about the dangers around me.
It felt great.
There are some things that you just can't explain or put into words.
