Truck-ceratops at First Night parade
For First Night this year, me and my buds with the Caveman Collective designed and built these electric trikes and a dinosaur-SUV art car, and got a couple dozen friends to come out in cavepeople outfits to kill the truck-ceratops once each block.

For Austin's First Night art car parade on New Year's this last December, me and a few friends designed and built these wooden trikes we used in the parade. They cost about $500-$750 each in materials, we built like 3 or 4... this is the prototype

I guess this is a little late or whatever, but it's a lotta photos and it took me a while to sort through'em. This is pretty much a photo journal from day I drove up all the way up to the burn, but with a whole lotta huge gaps along the way. People ask me what I thought of Burning Man, and for me the event wasn't half as cool as building the city before hand, although the more I think about it the event was pretty amazing in it's own right. Enjoy August in Austin suckas! =) 
This was a great great time. The dancing, dames, robots, music, drinks, friends, photos, panty cannons, time machines, tesla coils, steam candles, costumes, silver sofas... so many awesome things to see and play with and people, it was one of the greatest parties I've been to.

New-Year's Eve, 2006. My day started with the realization that my phone was missing. It took the entire morning to find it, and from there everything seemed stuck in slow motion, with time flying past 4x speed. The simple matter of loading my car for the day, driving in to downtown, and finding something to eat was inexplicably drawn out into a 3hr+ ordeal.
