Total Immersion Yoga Certification

Finally...I'm making the step. I've been contemplating it for years, and I found it...the right timing, right program, right location...everything seems right. I chose the program offered by Stephanie Keach, the director of Asheville Yoga Studio, to further my education.

It's pretty funny, when beginning this journey, I didn't realize the impact it would have on my life. I've been reading the long list of required books for about six months...contemplating the depth of their meaning, allowing the knowledge and wisdom to penetrate my mind and spirit, moving onward to new heights.

I thank my friends and family for their patience and willingness to understand all the changes I've experienced...the emotions, feelings, ideas that have come to the forefront. I don't know what the future holds, but I trust in the truth of life. I trust my path. I trust that my guides will continue to whisper in my ear and remind me of the goal.

I'm leaving Wed. to begin! Twenty three days of yoga, meditation, chanting, studying, living, breathing...

what's in a name

Belly dance has become a huge part of my life. While the name Razi ("my secret") fit for quite some time, I seem to have outgrown it. I chose it when I was still in the closet about my wonderful hobby. Now that I find its expression intertwined with all areas of my life, "my secret" no longer fits.

I've been searching for other names, but I'm finding I just want to be who I am...not yet another persona I may decide to eliminate in the future. While my name is Jennifer, I do like Jenna better, but many call me Jen....so I'm exploring the three of me, and we'll see which one sticks...

A holiday of remembrance...

Goddess of the silver moon shines down upon the Earth's face
Beauty holds her in the palm of his hand
While she blossoms
Life thriving in her belly
She dances to the music of the night
The stars twinkle her name

I am drawn, eagerly, to the Goddess of the night.
Under her eyes, I toss and turn

The powers of the Universe are within you. It is difficult for us because of ignorance and false identity.

What happens to you always happens in your mind.

All suffering is a result of a loss of knowledge of our origins.

All will be pulled into the whirlpool. The Universe will feed into itself. All creatures will be liberated!
