It is a blessing to find an oasis in a desert.
and It is a joy to find a friend. To create this friendship in this desert that I live in is a joyful blessing. I never realized just how valuable laughter could be for an atrophied spirit. It's like holy water on a drying soul. Thanks for the laughter my friend. January 18, 2008
In the comic book universe, if Sam were an X-Man, her mutant ability/super power would be that of exponential growth. I marvel at what she has been able to accomplish - so much and so quickly! And, just like in the X-Men movies, it sometimes scares the beejeezuses out of the non-mutants when those latent abilities manifest themselves - KA-BANG!... Watch out for this amazingly radiant being as she grows and evolves and harnesses her abilities. She's awesome and she's gonna impact the world. If you think I'm lying, I invite you to have a conversation with me about it. Really. I count myself lucky to have met Sam and to have her as a friend and a fellow X-Man.

I had a funny dream. C@R and I went to South Africa for the Freedom Event (dont ask me) and we stayed in the Playboy mansion. All the girls were there and we were playing with Coco (Hef's real monkey). A few weeks ago a friend shared that the most important quality they value in our relationship and the thing they love most about me is my humor. That kinda caught me off guard. I do have a secret dream of doing a 5 minute stand-up routine (wow, just said it out loud) and I know I make myself laugh ALL THE TIME and friends around me do seem to giggle and laugh from time to time but am I funny? I added something to the mural (which has slowly taken over almost every room in my home). I added a big black square and on the top I wrote: Roll Call. On the bottom, I wrote "Remember the Love". I want to climb a mountain and stand at the top and look down. Then I want to climb to the next highest peak and look back at what I just thought was "so high".
